Ford Powered Cobras Road Into Winnder Circle At Road America (Shelby & Ford News)

A team of Shelby CSX 4000 series Cobras from Shelby Automobiles, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc., (CSBI.PK), roared to victory in class during the 2008 Kohler International Challenge with Brian Redman at Road America. The event was sponsored by Ford Motor Company on July 17 through 20, 2008 at the track in Elkhart Lake, Wisc. Team drivers Tom Barnard, Vincent Dean and Tim Korzen put Cobras on the podium in their respective classes during the first factory race initiative from Shelby Autos and Ford Motor Company since 1969.

Team Shelby Club Started By Carroll Shelby Attracts 2000 Members In Just Three Months (Shelby & Ford News)

Membership in the new Team Shelby Club, which is authorized by Shelby Automobiles Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International, Inc., (CSBI.PK) has skyrocketed to over 2,000 people in just three months. Officially launched on Carroll Shelby’s 85th birthday of Jan. 11, 2008, Team Shelby is the only club officially recognized by the factory for all vehicles built by Shelby, including 2006 and newer Shelby-based Mustangs.

Opening of Shelby Corner Café to mark beginning of NHRA Weekend in Las Vegas (Shelby & Ford News)

Shelby Automobiles, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI.PK), will kick off the NHRA weekend by opening the new Shelby Corner Café on April 10, 2008. Located on the Shelby Automobiles campus at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Cafe is dedicated to the Shelby legend and gives enthusiasts visiting the track or Shelby facility a place to dine that equals their passion for performance automobiles.
