The new 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 delivers the most power and refinement ever for a Ford SVT-tuned performance Mustang – and a few surprises, too. “The 2010 Shelby GT500 demonstrates Ford’s continuing commitment to high-performance vehicles,” said Derrick Kuzak, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development. “In addition to the numerous performance and refinement improvements inside and out, the 2010 Shelby GT500 is an estimated 2 miles per gallon more fuel efficient on the highway.”

Ford Mustang sales down 50% for November 2008 (Shelby & Ford News)

Ford, Lincoln and Mercury outpaced industry-wide November sales, thanks largely to F-Series truck sales, and grew its retail and total market share for the second straight month. Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers reported total sales of 118,818 in November, down 30 percent versus a year ago, while industry-wide auto sales in November were down an estimated 35 percent as the weakening economy continues to take a toll on consumer confidence and spending. Ford Mustang sales were down 50% when compared to November 2007.

2010 Mustang Introduction Coming Tuesday Night (Shelby & Ford News)

When the wraps come off of the modern, more muscular new 2010 Ford Mustang late Tuesday, enthusiasts can be part of the moment they've been waiting for. On the eve of the Los Angeles Auto Show, the new 2010 Mustang will be revealed live to Mustang enthusiasts at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Plus, SPEED will broadcast the same-day tape-delayed reveal nationally on SPEED at 11:00 p.m. (EST). Simultaneously with the reveal, the Mustang Club of America will host nine regional reveal events at local movie theaters, where Mustang enthusiasts can see a special live feed of the broadcast.
